Engine is coming together
Just a small introduction: I’m a 27 y/o web-developer who ventilates creative output through making games.
I made some small games with Unity / C# and am now deepening my knowledge by making my own game and engine in C++.
Right now I’m at the stage of being able to get stuff on the screen with regard to layers and moving a player sprite.
The basics for physics and gravity are in place, and I can now reasonably “fly” the player around in a non-animating state.
Next up is animation capabilities!
